The General Anthroposophical Section is commemorating 150 years since the birth of Ita Wegman with a series of online lectures taking place throughout 2026, offered in English with Spanish translation, for the worldwide anthroposophical movement.

In six lectures, Peter Selg presents key milestones in the life of Ita Wegman: her collaborations with others, her contributions to medicine, social development, and inclusion, as well as her ongoing resistance and courage in the face of challenges.

The lectures take place online and are offered on a donation basis.

Suggested donation: EUR 10 per lecture.

Individual registration is required for each lecture.

All financial contributions support the work of the Ita Wegman Institute and Publishing House, as well as the General Anthroposophical Section, which care for and further the legacy of Ita Wegman’s work.

A recording is provided to all registered participants, allowing those who are unable to attend the live session to view the lecture at a later time.

At this conference, we will deepen, broaden, and develop our understanding
of anthroposophic nursing in oncology, palliative care, and geriatrics, and
reflect on our spiritual roots.

Through discussion with one another, we will explore ways to integrate anthroposophic nursing into the demanding daily routine of nursing, even
in non-anthroposophic institutions: What is most important, and in which
way can we be effective?

Artistic exercises, clay work, and eurythmy will accompany the conference.

Financial Aid is available for Members Only in the form of work study at $250; send request to anthronursing@gmail.com. Award based on need/after eligibility is established award is on a first come first served basis, so apply early please.
