Renewing our abilities and lifelong commitment to learning as Anthroposophic Nurses, with a special focus on the heart

Participation is limited to graduates of the NAANA Accredited Training Courses.

Course tuition includes three meals and two breaks per day. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing.

All participants planning to travel by air are encouraged to fly into Newark Liberty International Airport. Information regarding ground transportation can be found here on the Threefold Educational Center website. Coordinated ride-sharing is not being offered; participants are responsible for their own arrangements.

A limited number of dorm rooms may be available in Holder House on the Threefold Educational Center campus, but availability will not be known until closer to fall. To see more information about Holder House, or to look into community home stay options click here

Faculty Biographies:
Rolf Heine, RN - Rolf is founder and director of the Academy for Anthroposophic Nursing at the Filderklinik, Filderstadt, Germany. He is a Specialist in Anthroposophic Nursing and teaches Foundation and Specialist Anthroposophic Nursing courses, palliative care, external applications, and Rhythmical Einreibung in various Anthroposophic and conventional hospitals and settings. He teaches on an international level in the IPMT in several countries. Rolf has been the Coordinator for the International Forum for Anthroposophic Nursing (IFAN) since 2000; he has served as President for the International Council of ANthroposophic Nursing Associations (ICANA) since 2014; he is involved in the International Coordination of Anthroposophic Medicine (IKAM); and he has held roles in several prominent Anthroposophic associations. Rolf is well-known for developing the Nursing Gestures. Besides this he is also the author of important publications on Anthroposophic Nursing.

Branko Furst, MD, FFARCSI - Branko is a graduate of the University of Ljubljana Medical School in Slovenia and he completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth and at the Middlesex Hospitals in London, UK. The pursuit of an academic career took him to El Paso, Texas, where he joined the faculty at the Department of Anesthesiology at Texas Tech University Medical School. Currently he is Professor of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and he divides his time between clinical practice, research and resident teaching. His research interests include cardiovascular physiology and mechanisms of general anesthesia. He authored the book "The Heart and Circulation - An Integrative Model", currently in it's second edition (Springer-Nature), and soon to be published in German translation (Salumed Verlag, Berlin). He has lectured on the integrative model of circulation nationally and internationally.

Cancellation Policy:
Participants' cancellation requests must be received in writing (emailed and received, or postmarked) before August 29th, 2019 for a full refund, less a $100.00 administrative fee. Cancellation requests received in writing before October 1st will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received on or after October 1st will not be eligible for any refund. Telephone cancellations cannot be honored. Email cancellations will be promptly acknowledged by return email; until then, you cannot assume they have been received.
